Chicago Tribune
EXCLUSIVE! Chicago Tribune discount codes for multiple Sunday papers
I'm excited to announce a custom partnership between Super-Couponing and the Sunday-Edition Chicago Tribune, which is filled with news, sports, business, entertainment -- and of course, coupons!
Chicago Tribune home delivery service is a convenient way to have newspaper inserts and coupons delivered right to your home. I've been working with the Tribune to develop discount codes especially for coupon shoppers wishing to receive multiple copies of the Sunday Chicago Tribune to the same address, on the same invoice -- something many couponers have previously expressed difficulty with. You can order up to 4 additional Sunday papers with specially-tiered pricing to maximize your couponing power, and it's even cheaper than buying your papers at the dollar store. (Plus, they're delivered to your door!)
Call 1-800-311-8500 to subscribe with any of the following codes:
| Single Copy Offers | Discount code | Price |
| Sunday Edition, 1 copy | JCSO | .50/week |
| Wednesday and Sunday delivery, 1 copy | JCWS | .99/week |
| Multiple Copy Offers* | Discount code | Price |
| Add 1 Sunday Edition | JCX1 | .50/week |
| Add 2 Sunday Editions | JCX2 | $1.50/week |
| Add 3 Sunday Editions | JCX3 | $2.25/week |
| Add 4 Sunday Editions | JCX4 | $3.00/week |
*Maximum 5 Sunday copies per address, within the Tribune's delivery area. Length of offer is 26 weeks of delivery.
Chicago Tribune profile: Coupon Superstar
Monday's Chicago Tribune has a very lengthy profile of me and my rise from mom to "Coupon Superstar..."

Coupon superstar: Jill Cataldo teaches a growing legion of fans to trim their bottom line but isn't stingy on goodwillSome of the 2,500 people who came to hear Jill Cataldo talk about coupons started lining up four hours before she took the stage at the performing arts center in Charleston, S.C., in March.
Cataldo's sold-out speech was touted as the largest event of its kind ever held in the United States.
This crowd was big, but Cataldo, an entrepreneur and mother of three from the far northwest suburb of Huntley, is used to the attention. She has secrets to share that are just right for this penny-pinching era: how to use those little clips of paper to save a family thousands of dollars a year at the supermarket.
She's the first to admit she's not the only one teaching about coupons, having been in the coupon-advice game just three years. But there's something about her.
It's really an incredibly-written piece. A big thanks to Greg Karp at the Tribune too, who shadowed me for a couple of days and followed me as I juggle work and family.
Groupon deal: $26 for 1-year Chicago Tribune four-day delivery (.50/week)
Groupon's got another Chicago Tribune delivery deal today - $26 for one year of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday home delivery. That's .50/week, which is already a good price for Sunday-only, but with this deal, you're getting W-TH-F also... and all good coupon shoppers know that Wednesday paper's worth getting because it has your Thursday-cycle flyers in it for Jewel, Dominick's and Meijer.
Plus, most of the existing .50/Sunday Tribune codes are for six months... this is a year. Not bad if you're looking for a Tribune deal :)
Chicago Tribune: Outdated items at Dominick's upsets customers
The Chicago Tribune just posted a story about the Dominick's expired food situation on their site. Look for it in tomorrow's paper:
Dominick's has upset a contingent of consumers over selling packaged food with expired dates.
The supermarket chain's fan page on social networking site Facebook has been riddled with comments from posters who identify themselves as customers — angry that some stores had food with expired "best if used by," "sell by" or "use by" dates.
Chicago Tribune addresses Target coupon issues... and the media follows
Today's Chicago Tribune has an article about the coupon situation at Target. After so many comments from readers this week, I brought this to their attention, and many thanks to Greg Karp at the Trib for writing about it so promptly! It's a good read, and several readers of my blog are quoted in it too:
Target Shortchanges Shoppers With Certain Coupons
Update: 10/29/10 - Over 20 newspapers and media outlets around the country have since picked up this story:
DEAL'S DONE: Sunday Chicago Tribune for .25/week!
If you're not currently receiving the Chicago Tribune (and if you're in Chicago and not subscribing, you're missing out on the best, highest-value coupons in Chicagoland,) Groupon, the "daily deal" site, has a can't-miss offer on the Trib. $13 for one YEAR of Sunday home delivery! We have NEVER seen the Tribune so cheap!
