I appeared on Chicago's CBS 5:00 News again this evening as part of their "Survive This Economy" series. These ongoing segments have followed one family, the Wrights, as they try to cut expenses in many areas of family life, including dining out, saving on utilities, and shopping. Last week I shared tips for saving at the supermarket, and during this week's segment, I opened up my closet (literally!) to talk clothing clearance tips.

I appeared on NBC 5 News in Chicago during the 5:00pm and 10:00pm newscasts I went shopping with anchor Kim Vatis in the city, and we discussed ways to save with coupons. (I also had a shopping helper along for this downtown shopping spree... my 4-year-old son!)

This has been a media blitz week for Super-Couponing! The episode of Inside Edition that filmed a portion of my workshop yesterday is scheduled to air Friday, 8/19! In Chicago, Inside Edition airs on ABC 7 at 3:00pm (in Rockford, it's also on ABC but at 12:35am.) You can check local listings for other parts of the country at InsideEdition.com

I am also scheduled to appear on Fox 32's Good Day Chicago morning news Friday morning after 9:45am to discuss back-to-school clothes and supplies savings.
