Looks like Super Bowl Sunday will be FROZEN this year!
... and those of you who have been anxiously awaiting news of a super hot super COLD sale should mark your calendars for February 7th...
... you mentioned on Twitter? Wondering.
No, I'm working on an even bigger surprise. :)
Just prepped the DH to be up and early that day. No tailgaiting this year!!!!
So these go fast right, is that what I heard? I'll be at Jewel bright and early then!
Thank you for the heads up!
Oh man Jill, you can't leave us hangin' like that. I sure hope you are talking about the FREEzer sale?
Sounds like a clever way to get people in the store when they are all in front of their TV sets.
In the past we found it a great day to go out to restaurants that are always crowded. As long as the place doesn't have a TV in the bar, it will be empty that one day.
Anyone know the appx price of this freezer? And are all the Qs for FREE items?
... it's retailed for $150 with $150 in free frozen food coupons -- this is the way it's advertised too.
One person on the blog said they got some $1 off coupons with their free product coupons too last year, but it's advertised as $150 in FREE coupons, so I think they may have just gotten a few extra. Everyone I knew personally that got them received no dollar-offs, all frees.
Go to the forum topic dealing only with the Jewel freezers. It will have approximate prices, size, list of past coupons, etc.
Thanks, but I am having trouble finding the thread with that info in it. Anyone out there able to post a link for me?? Thanks if ya can!
It's under the Off Topics section and the name is Jewel Freezers.

--------------
It does vary - when I got my freezer in 2008, there were a lot more prepared meals (pan of lasagna, single-meal entrees, etc) but keep in mind too that regardless of what coupons you get, this is STILL much cheaper than buying the freezer outright -- last year, Sears was selling the identical freezer for $179 with no food coupons involved...
Very Much!!
I'm pretty sure I'll be out of town on the 7th, does anyony know how may frezers are usually kept in stock per store, I hope I can get them on monday. or is it a one day only sale?
Most stores get 20-30 freezers, and they usually move fast. Last year a few stores did have a few left come Monday. Cross your fingers.
