Coupons denied!
I went to Jewel with my husband at midnight last night/this morning to get my freezer. (We happened to be heading home around this time & it sounded better than getting up early!) I even ran into another super-couponer there for the same deal!
They had the freezers available for $149, but all of the coupons were locked in the safe. No one in the store at that time could unlock it. The lady insisted that the promotion didn't start until Sunday. We insisted that it WAS Sunday.
While going back and forth with the lady she assured us that this was all explained (the 8:00 am start time) in the flier. Its not.
After much debate about wether to take our chances in the morning, some employee who would be working in the morning came over and offered to write on our receipts that we didn't get the coupons.
This is false advertising! The ad says that it starts Sunday. I was definitely there on Sunday. Because of this I had to go BACK to the store at 8:00 to get my coupons. I'm so frustrated with this right now!
