Want a free, local coupon swap in YOUR area?
After attending Super-Couponing classes, many people expressed to me that they wished there was a local coupon club that they could participate in – a place to trade coupons, spend time with other coupon lovers, and share stories of great deals! Organizations that have hosted Super-Couponing classes expressed a similar interest in an ongoing adult program that would keep people returning on a regular basis in an open, drop-in, informal setting. And the Super-Couponing Swap was born!
I'm already in touch with several area libraries who are in the process of setting up Super-Couponing Swaps! I've developed a packet with everything an organization needs to get their swap going, including swap plans, setup details, and instructions on how to establish a "group" inserts file for participants to utilize (libraries subscribe to a LOT of newspapers each week... meaning there are a lot of coupons to be shared with their patrons!)
If you're interested in seeing a regular Super-Couponing Swap set up at your area library, suggest it to your library's programming department, point them in the direction of SuperCouponing.com (it's under "Host an Event",) and I'll help with the rest! :)

Any update? Any list of
Any update? Any list of libraries that might be in process that we can help motivate?
Libraries
I've had a lot of requests for the packets -- I know Huntley and Marengo libraries are in the process of trying to set them up. As soon as I have a more official word, I'll definitely let you know. I was hoping Huntley's would be set up by now so they could make some kind of announcement in conjunction with the DVD signing event on Wednesday, but we'll see...
coupon swap
This is an awesome idea! I would like to unload some of my unused coupons--has any clubs been started yet?
That would be awesome, seeing
That would be awesome, seeing that I have no need for baby coupons. Awesome idea!!
couponing in San Diego, North County
I got the North County Times today just for your article. It sounds like I'm on track. I do need to find more of those "retailer coupons " though.
So your article brought me here. I am always in search of local couponing groups. I have yet to find them and found your super couponing swap. I will check at the library as you directed, but do you have any plans to come to San Diego?

Coupon parties
I started having "coupon parties" last January and we have one at least once a month! They are a huge hit and so much fun. A different person hosts it each month and the whole party is based on frugality. The first one I had I was able to pick up a large sheet cake from a grocery store deli for $3.00!!!!
Everyone sits around and swaps coupons (everyone brings their extra coupons) and also talk about good deals we have gotten. One of us tries to bring the current sales flyers for the grocery stores. We live in a VERY rural area in Arkansas so their are not many stores to shop at. But this year I have saved $21, 734.00 by using coupons. Last year I saved $13,000.00. And by the way, by saving that huge amount I only actually SPENT about $500.00 out of pocket! It is definitely my full time job and I do get paid to shop.
