I recently sent out emails to Gerber in regards to the products I bought from them that I used on my daughter. I'm now pregnant with my second and they responded with a bunch of coupons for formula and products!!! They will definitely come in handy!

Not all companies send out free coupons and

not all companies send out free coupons to anyone who asks. Do a google search ... there are tons of tips out there that may apply to the companies you're interested in.

To list them (if anyone has had the experience) might not be the best option because of sentence #1. It will be hit or miss, require some work/research on your part, require your patience and, lastly, your acceptance should your efforts fail or result in less than expected results.

Here's what I cannot impress upon you enough: As part of your research, you should read this blog. Jill regularly lists how to obtain free toothpaste when combined with sales, coupons, cats, etc. Health and cleaning are another cheapie if not always free. Food ... depends on what your definition of food is. If you're talking frozen or canned, this blog highlights these items each week. If you're talking meat, dairy and produce, these are a little tougher but not impossible on occasion. Again ... read this blog ... each week. The initial post identifies the deals and comments further enlighten.

It's not always, or usually, as simple as a quick email or call asking for free stuff or the coupons. You also need to know if your stores accept free item coupons. Quite a few don't as nothing else is required to be purchased (lots of fraud out there). BOGO ... yes, usually no problem. Combine BOGO with a store BOGO sale ... do the math ... two free!

This blog is teaching you to fish ... and very often, just hands you the fish with very little work involved!! Good luck.
