I'm looking for a deal on the small 12oz bottles of Gatorade. I think those are the ones that Jewel has on sale every now & then in 24 packs, but I haven't seen that deal for a long time. I've also seen them in 6-packs and 12-packs.

These are great for summer lunch sacks.

Or some coupons for these?

And while I'm asking, has any one seen the 24oz bottles with the twist open/closed tops? The only place I've seen them recently is at the dollar store, not in the 4-packs I used to get. We like them because they don't spill.

gatorade

We have consumed ALOT of Gatorade over the years,(with 2 sons at the same time in wrestling, football, & weight training K-college). the CHEAPEST I've found was at Walmart, they sell the powder mix canister for approx $11. this makes 24 quarts = 6 gallons, thats about 45 cents a quart. We used the appropriate sized bottles to refill ( and the six pks/cases were not there for them to grab each time they opened the fridge!)

flavors I found were lemon-lime, fruit punch, & whatevr the Blue one is called.

answering myself...

Yesterday we found some at Jewel. 4packs for $1.50 Except they don't make 4packs. What they were was 12packs snipped into thirds! Never seen Jewel do that before.

The regular 6packs were $4 or so, which was absurd.

They only had 2 regular flavors, fruit punch (ok) and lemon-lime (yuck). There were also 1 or 2 flavors of the G2 which we hate.

Not sure if this was even in any of their sale fliers. I certainly didn't spot it. IIRC the sign said through 6/22.

The 32ox bottles are on sale through today for $.79 which is a pretty good price.
