I have noticed that with increased frequency, some users are writing posts to promote their own websites, companies, or agendas (i.e. "vote for me in such-and-such contest," "vote for my son's team," etc.)

At the time of this writing, with over 20,000 registered users, the blog would quickly become overrun with these posts if I did not remove them. In the interest of keeping the blog coupon-related, it's a decision I've had to make. Please do not write posts of this nature, or they will be promptly removed.

Posting links to coupons or other blogs' savings-related posts are fine, such as:

"I saw a great deal on dog food at Hip2Save" (with a link.)

Post such as:

"I started my own coupon blog and it is great! Everyone should come over to www. my new blog .com!" are not. These will be removed.
