Frankfort Dominicks
I went to Dominicks today in Frankfort. Of course they had none of the smoothies in stock. When I went to pay, the girl actually gave me a hard time about the coupons. Did anyone else know that they changed their policy about taking 2 coupons for a buy one get one free sale? I was going to buy the Skintimate B1G1 and use a $.75 coupon for each. The girl said they can only use 1 coupon... not one for the free one, too. I have NEVER had this problem at any store I have been to. When I questioned her, she said that if they took the coupons, they would all be out of a job. I thought the stores got reimbursed for the coupons? I checked the website and she was right. Of course, she was so mean to me that I politely told her I did not want to make the purchase anymore and would take my business elsewhere.
It's also on the bottom of the ad. Doms will only let you use one coupon on a BOGO, but Jewel lets you use 2.
I didn't know that they changed their policies. I know better now. I guess I should have paid better attention. She could have been a little nicer though. You would think we are taking money out of the cashier's pockets sometimes.I had one last week refuse to ring up my gift card because I wanted a separate purchase for it. She sent me to customer service to buy it.
That policy is written on the back of each weekly flyer in the small print on the back page too.
