Phew! My total came to $21.06 with tax…AND I got a $2.00 catalina for purchasing 3 Ben & Jerry’s…AND it looks like my cashier took $5.00 off for the free PowerAde Sports instead of the .88 each (he mentioned not wanting to do the math, but I didn’t pay attention at the time!) Total saved – 81% NICE – Thank you so much Jill – AND all of you who post helpful hints so regularly! I’ve been at this a little over a year and I still get so giddy when I get a great deal :0)

For posting your scenario kensbaby93. I went this morning to Mundelein and did 12 Mott's and Krispies and Quaker Chewy Bars (smoothies, soap and bread) and the discount only came off 2 of the Chewy Bars. Colleen at Doms was AWESOME, she was so very helpful and refunded me the rest of the money. I haven't shopped at Mundelein Dom's for a while, but someone posted on here that there was a new manager and to give them another try and I have been so very happy my last several trips there. Thanks to whoever posted that and thank you for great customer service this morning in Mundelein! Giving half of my great deal to Food Pantry :-) coupon karma! Thanks Jill!

PS. 11$ for 12 juices and 8 snacks, 6 smoothies, 6 dial soap, 2 bread and 2 of the Teera chips. Heck of a deal!

Okay, I'm new here, haven't taken Jill's class yet (will be on Sept 23rd though!) but have been learning a few things here and there from all of you....Thank you by the way! :) Anyway, how do you have SO many of the same coupons, for example 7 smoothies coupons?

Just for my understanding - I thought Jill said that we could use coupons on the granola bars even though they were free for overage. My cashier wouldn't let me use them since they were already free. I didn't push the issue and took the coupons back. Don't think I got that great of a deal as mine didn't have the free capri sun coupon on the mac and cheese packs, but I was able to find the coupon for the free milk with the 4 granola bars. Still trying to figure Dominick's out as I have not had very good luck finding the right stuff at the one near me.

Thanks for commenting on the fruit smoothies...wasn't sure if these were any good...my daughter might like them and I have quite a few of these coupons. It's too bad my kids don't drink the apple juice anymore, it would have been worth my while doing the juice deal. Did it with the cranberry for my husband but it doesn't include the cranberry mixed flavors as far as I know, which I would prefer to drink. Where did you have the $2/2 off store bread wyb 2 rice krispie treats? With juice this low, I might stock up for a food pantry run (but don't tell my HD, it took us weeks to get our basement cleaned and in order). It's always a delight to see favorite cashiers since Dominick's deals seem to depend on that as a big factor. I've had pretty good success these past few months with most any of them. Just have this one in Crystal Lake though who lines up all the coupons prior to scanning the items and reads them three times...so I try to be patient and don't look back at the expressions of the other shoppers waiting in line.

I followed just about all of the idea's and was so surprised at my full trunk! I was laughing to myself, that I should have said yes, to help out to my car!I stacked the juice deal 4 times, got 8 free snacks...was happy to see the Quaker Dips included, DS's favorite's. I looked for the free Milk tear pad, none found at my dom's :( ...I wish I could put the deals together as easily as you guys do.....another GREAT day shopping!

when you have a great cashier!!! My cashier is so awesome. I did self check out..because that is where she is 99% of the time. Kind of a pain the butt to scan all those coupons at self check out with an almost 2 year old but so worth it. I scan my coupons and she entertains my baby =)
Plus when I get to the coupons that need cashier intervention (like the free store bread and the free fun fizz...I just tell her what needs to be done and she does it)

I thought about doing the mac and cheese but I have sooooo much of it from Meijer a few months ago....lol

I rocked it today too. I need to blog about it for you guys soon as the way I did it involves a 3-day sale that ends Saturday night.

Really, really nice job! :) The coupons on the Rice Krispie treats for overage PLUS free store-brand bread is particularly sweet!
