Since this contest celebrated TWO years of great deals, there were TWO ways to enter...
Entry #1: Coupon Haiku
Haiku is a simple Japanese poetry made up of three lines of text. The first line has five syllables, the second seven, the last, five again.
To enter, readers composed their own coupon-related Haiku and posted them in the comments section under this article. They could enter as many times as they wanted, and many were feeling extra-poetic, letting their inspiration flow!
There were so many, incredibly funny and creative entries that left me laughing out loud every single day for a week! Couponers really are a very funny, intelligent bunch of people. But when it was all said and done, one Haiku just kept sticking in my head (and making me laugh every time I'd think of it!)
The winner of Contest #1: Coupon Haiku is Ereml27, who penned this gem:

Entry #2: Photo Spotter
I took this photograph earlier this summer somewhere within the continental United States. To enter this contest, readers simply had to answer this question: Where was I at the time?
Over 60 of my readers apparently have traveled to the same location (or put Google to work for them!) and emailed me the correct answer, which is:
The Simpsons Ride, Universal Studios Florida
As I received more than one correct answer, I put all of the correct entries into a database and chose the winner from them with a random number generator.
And that winner is... Cool Coupon Dad!
Congrats to our two winners, and again, thank you to everyone who participated. I hope you had as much fun reading the Haikus as I did... and I encourage everyone to visit Crazy Carl's Coupon Castle at least once.

I am having TOO MUCH FUN! I must say I have never spoken to more strangers in my life!!! In the middle of the store, for no other reason but to share! LOL.. Really, it's so funny the conversations coupons strike up! Even better, my husband and I are buying an RV from a private seller, and my husband is so proud of me he told these people about the money I'm saving us with coupons and they send him home with HALF PRICE PIZZA Coupons for Rosati's for us! How awesome is that? And YES I have become Coupon Crazed!!!!
