Did anyone go? How as it? Crowded? How was it overall? I know it was an Expo but wanted your opinions on the overall event and what you thought about where it was held. I never know which expo to go to and know there's one coming up in Crystal Lake. Thx.

I Went - It Was Outstanding!

I've been following Jill for almost a year, and it was great to re-hear what she has to say. Jill only had half the cafeteria, and the other half was serving food, etc. I was glad she had a microphone.

At one point I looked around and there were about 100 of the 140 people nodding their heads vigorously in agreement with what she was saying, and the other 40 were literally jaw dropped, mouth open in shock at what you could save and how easy it was. It made me laugh out loud to see all the "light bulbs" going on. After Jill was done speaking, everyone was all in a chitter about everything they just learned.

(And that nodding-head, amazed-face reaction that you describe? Seeing that is one of the best parts of being able to FACE the group from the front of the room! :)

Or were you asking about the EXPO itself (booths, businesses, etc) and not the speakers at the local expos?

Well, I went! LOL. There were about 140 people, and they held the class in the school cafeteria, so everyone sat at lunchroom tables. It was good :)

Naperville sent me an updated registration link today - they are charging $15 if you attend just the Super-Couponing portion, as the entire Dietitians and Dietetics seminar at NIU costs $70 to attend that day. The registration link is http://www.wsdadietitians.org/store

underwent a major remodeling and has been open for a year now. It's beautiful with great amenities. Lots and lots of computers for patrons to use and also free wi-fi. Love our library!

That library is very, very cool. It's just a few months old and it is state-of-the-art in every way. They even have "self-checkout" for books!! LOL.

I have taught downtown in the past, but my schedule is truly determined by the locations of the organizations wishing to host workshops. I don't choose where to go as much as it is "chosen" for me :) I book in the order of my waiting list, and right now, everything coming up is all over the suburbs.
